   Two bedroomed two Bathroom apartment in popular area of Almoradi

   Lovely apartment overlooking communal pool, sleeps 6, close to restaurants, shops and bars

Newly built June 2006 First Floor Air Conditioned 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom (one with bath & shower, one with shower only) apartment sleeping 6 people on a small development with Communal Pool.  Furnished to very high standard. This is a very light and airy modern apartment, the large main balcony being south facing and overlooking the pool area.  The apartment runs from the back to the front of the building, thus allowing a pleasant ‘through’ breeze when front and back windows are open. Parking – there is ample street parking immediately outside the apartment. Almoradi – situated on the northern side of the Segura River, southern Costa Blanca.  A typical uncommercialised Spanish Town with numerous bars, restaurants and designer clothing & shoe shops. There are many fiestas throughout the year and a large market every Saturday.   Just 10/15 minutes drive away are numerous beautiful beaches (many of which are Blue Flag status and manned by lifeguards during the season) including Guardamar Del Segura (a favourite with Spanish holiday makers) and the popular Torrevieja if you are looking for something a little more lively.  There are regular buses to both resorts but a car would be recommended to discover the many quieter beaches in the vicinity.  The historic town of Murcia is less than 30 minutes drive away with it’s lovely old buildings and just 20 minutes to Elche, the shoe capital of the Costa Blanca and  renowned for it’s ‘Palmeral’ (the most extensive orchard of palm trees in Europe).   The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is only half an hours drive away along the picturesque coastal road leading you through the unusual Salt Lakes.Transport – regular buses to Alicante, Guardamar, Torrevieja, Elche, Algorfa, Ciudad Quesada, Benijofar.

Airports – Both Murcia and Alicante are an easy 30 minute drive away.

Location – 5 minutes walk  to the attractive main square of Almoradi furnished with the infamous ‘Polo Mint’ trees.  There are a number of large children’s outdoor play parks  (usually with a bar situated on site serving tappas and drinks) in the town, the nearest being 5 minutes walk away from the apartment.  Numerous supermarkets are within easy walking distance

Main balcony is a good sized area, south facing and over looking the pool area with barbecue, table and four chairs (additional chairs and small table are located on the rear balcony, off the main bedroom)

Swimming pools:

Communal area/pool – set amidst the small development, an attractive large swimming pool, safely divided from the children’s pool with surrounding sunbathing areas.  Completely secure for children – the pool area is gated and the ‘courtyard’ is inaccessible to non-key holders.

Local Activities:

Children – There is a small zoo located at Elche, a water park at Ciudad Quesada (about 10 minutes drive away), a funfair at Torrevieja, Pola Park Theme Park at Santa Pola.  In Almoradi itself there are many play parks as well as outdoor pool & sports centre, indoor children’s play centre (ball pool, etc), ten pin bowling, there is quite often entertainment in the main square (puppet shows, etc) and they are always more than welcome in the local eating establishments.Golf  - All within close proximity are the golf clubs in Rojales, Algorfa, Villa Martin, Orihuela and CampoamarNightlife – bars and restaurants are open into the early hours but if you are looking to dance the night away perhaps Torrevieja with it’s  casino and the famous Pacha night club which opens from around midnight until nine o clock in the morning is the place for you.
 

There is a local key holder to meet and greet.  Linen and towels are included but please provide your own beach/pool towels.Please add 40 euro cleaning charge - payable locally
Reservation fee of £100 with balance to follow 6 weeks prior to holiday.Internet Access is available at additional cost and prior arrangement.Airport Transfers can be arranged at additional cost.

Key/damage deposit - please send cheque £100.00 with final payment. This will be returned after inspection by our property key holder.
